West Sussex Wedding Photography – Rosina and Chris

West Sussex Wedding Photography

It’s the test of good wedding planning as to whether or not you can call a wedding ‘timeless’, but Rosina and Chris’s wedding was exactly that. Timeless, classic and filled with flowers, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. After a morning spent preparing, followed by a beautiful ceremony at St James’ Church, in Stedham, West Sussex, the couple led their guests to the nearby home of some family friends for a beautiful garden party outside on the lawn in the sunshine.

Hanging Out on a Hillside

When it came to picking the perfect location for the couple’s portraits, I was spoilt for choice. It’s nice when that happens! The surrounding countryside looked stunning in the sunshine and I was able to capture Rosina and Chris against the amazing and frankly pastoral backdrop. (If Wordsworth had been there, he’d have been a big fan.)

After a hillside announcement from the MC (a friend of the groom’s), everyone headed straight into the nearby marquee. Once inside, long trestle tables, fairy lights and masses of lush green foliage created a wonderful, relaxed vibe.

Dinner and Dancing

Guests were treated to a stunning three course meal and the speeches that followed were excruciatingly funny, with the best man teasing the groom for his many ‘ailments’. Possibly the hardest part of the day is laughing so hard your ribs hurt, while taking photos that are in focus!

After dinner, the heavens opened, and while rain pelted down outside, our newlyweds finally kicked off the dancing. Lots of delicious espresso martinis from the bar kept everyone going late into the night!

Congratulations once again to Rosina and Chris! Thanks so much for having me there at your wedding.
