Surrey Wedding Photographer
A wedding in December is always a treat because it feels like Christmas has come early! Naomi and Jonny’s wedding was no exception to this rule. Having met them after Alice and Rob’s wedding in May of last year, I knew these two would put on a corker of a day.
And that they did!
St Mary’s Church and Ramster Hall
After getting ready with their bridesmaids and with their groomsmen, the moment of truth finally arrived when Jonny and Naomi saw each other for the first time in the church. The looks on their faces (and everyone else’s) are brilliant and it was awesome to see it all unfold. After a ‘confetti tunnel’ like no other (see below…), we all made our way to the nearby Ramster Hall for the reception.
The Wee Small Hours
There followed wonderful food, brilliant speeches and a pork pie and cheese tower like you’ve never seen. (I may or may not have found myself scoffing pork pie in my car at 1am.) The speeches, in particular, were wonderful – the perfect mix between ‘gotcha!’ moments and heartfelt sentiment. Many a belly laugh and even a few tears here and there!
But you know what? When all is said and done, it’s all about the dancing and IÂ think dance floors may be my favourite part of any wedding day because they’re so fun to shoot! (I even featured one of their photos on my recent dance floor blog post.) This was such a wicked time and it was so awesome to send them both off – after much dancing – through a forest of sparklers held aloft in the crisp night air at the end of the night.
