‘We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your support over the summer. The peace of mind it gave us in a period of uncertainty was so invaluable. These photos are amazing! Thank you so, so much.’

Briony + Sean

North London Microwedding

I love to plan things. I know what’s happening when, I’ve got a clear sense of what I need to do and there’s a goal to work towards.

But things don’t always go to plan.

Briony and Sean were meant to be married in May at Villa Catignano – a venue I’ve been lucky to shoot before – in Tuscany. When lockdown happened, I was on the phone to these two to see how we could postpone everything and get things straightened out.

Let’s Make This Happen, Shall We?

When restrictions started to ease, they knew they wanted to get married whatever happened. So that’s what they did. And it was one hell of a beautiful microwedding!

And where better to get married than right on your own doorstop? Living in Walthamstow gave them more than a few options, but drinks and friends in Lloyd Park

I joined these two for a few hours as they said their vows and made their way to the park. The sun may have not been Tuscan, but it shone just as bright on them both all the same.

Holding your own small wedding sometime soon? Get in touch and we can talk about what you’ve got planned. For more information about microweddings, click here.

Big love,

Will
