Driving down to Canterbury last month, I had no idea what to expect at Amy and Dave’s wedding. I mean, I’d heard a few things… for instance, I knew there’d be a few fairground rides(!), an outdoor ceremony and a gig by the Dave and his groomsmen. This all sounded too good to be true! Being a visual kind of person (no surprises there), I thought maybe I needed to see it to believe it.
Reader: I did see it, and I saw that it was good. It was so very, very good!
There weren’t just a few fairground rides, there was a fully fledged funfair. It wasn’t just an outdoor ceremony, but a ceremony both besieged and blessed by the elements in short succession. It wasn’t just a gig, it was really a full-on rock concert featuring both Amy and Dave on stage at the same time.
Add to that the indoor beach, the super cool denim jackets for Amy and her bridesmaids, the emotional speeches and the amazing group of people that made the day happen (supplier links below!) and you have a recipe for success. Amy and Dave – it was amazing! Can we do it again next year?!
