“THESE ARE AMAZIINNGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! You’ve captured the day so beautifully, thank you so much for doing such an incredible job. We cant stop looking at them!!”

Confession: I Love Microweddings

I’ve shot more than my fair share of microweddings of late (including this one, right after lockdown eased in the summer) and I’ve got to admit… I kinda love them!

They’re small, they’re cosy, they’re intimate. It’s only your very nearest and dearest there to enjoy the day with you, and every second is beautiful. There are fewer things pulling you hither and thither and you can focus on what’s most important: the people you love.

Katie and Will got in touch with my months ago, long before the pandemic, about their wedding in October. At the time, I was booked and couldn’t make it! But the pandemic had different plans for us all. When everything changed, they decided to go for a small wedding in the same church Katie’s parents were married in and then have a small reception with their nearest and dearest.

Because so many of my weddings had postponed to 2021 I was, all of a sudden, free on their new date! I was so happy when they got in touch and it was honestly a delight to be there for them both.

So, Katie and Will, congratulations and thank you once again for having me there as your microwedding photographer! It was a blast and I loved every second.

Are you having a microwedding anytime soon? I’d love to be there for you! Simply get in touch and I’ll let you know if I’m free!

Big love,

Will
