Let’s rewind to November, 2015. We’re in Yangon, Myanmar. It’s another blisteringly hot day and the air conditioning in the flat we’re in is saving our lives for one last time. Me and the friend I’m travelling with are saying our farewells to Sarah and Charlie after an amazing trip to see the sights of the country where they live. Little did we know that only two weeks later, they would be engaged. Not only that, but the one proposing would be Sarah, in a hot air balloon no less! Somehow I knew right then that this was going to be an amazing Devon wedding…
This January, when they asked me to photograph their big day I got that same feeling all over again, and I can tell you that their big day did not disappoint! A huge amount of fun from beginning to end – and plenty of corks flying at the reception!
