Barton Hall Wedding Photographer
Barton Hall Hotel is located in the picturesque town of Barton Seagrave in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Zoe and Greg fell in love with the venue, its beautiful, mature gardens, and the stunning Orangery where their civil ceremony took place.
Chinese Customs and an Elegant White Wedding
Originally from Hong Kong, the bride’s family organised and observed a number of Chinese customs before the wedding. First, the bridesmaids challenged the groom when he came to collect his bride. Zoe and Greg then took part in a traditional tea ceremony before accepting gifts of gold from family members.
Zoe and Greg wanted their wedding day to feel simple, bright, stylish and elegant. After the civil ceremony, I was able to capture them just outside the Orangery, walking hand-in-hand beneath a shower of confetti. As you can see from the photos below, the sun shone brilliantly throughout their drinks reception.
After a fantastic dinner and a series of heartfelt speeches, the evening reception began. Having met while they were both at university, on the mezzanine balcony at Nottingham’s Oceana nightclub, the bride and groom are no strangers to dancing the night away!
I love a wedding dance floor and Zoe and Greg’s didn’t disappoint! After slipping into another dazzling gown, Zoe joined her friends and family in the midst of the music, pulling shapes and crowd surfing with her husband.
Congratulations once again to Zoe and Greg! It was awesome to be there with you both.
